Enhancing the quality of life in Sherman,  our mission at the City of Sherman Parks and Recreation Department is to provide the finest parks, facilities, programs and services in the area. We offer excellent choices for sport activities: adult softball leagues, flag football leagues, a men's basketball league and a youth volleyball league.  We also offer open gym recreational volleyball and basketball at our newest facility the Taylor Street Complex. There are a variety of recreational opportunities for all ages pre-schoolers, teens and older.  We have craft classes, fitness classes, and special interests groups for people of all interests.
