This mission statement is supported by the following objectives:

- To offer community service through educational outreach programs, joint fundraisers, and so forth
- To keep theatre artists and the our community at the center of the work we do
- To be a major contributor and leader to the national theatre community while ever including and encouraging the contributions of local theatre artists
- To engage audiences of diverse ages, cultures and economic backgrounds
- To create world-class theatrical experiences while maximizing and responsibly managing available resources
