About Us:

The Socorro Gun Club exists to provide the greater Socorro, NM community with the material and human resources necessary to educate citizens of all ages in the safe use of firearms.

The Socorro Gun Club maintains a private shooting range via a 1964 Patent Land Deed from the Bureau of Land Management. Members and their guests utilize this important free resource for personal pleasure, training, and competition. If you would like to shoot at the range just come to a meeting and we'll be happy to make you our guest.

The Socorro Gun Club has partnered with the New Mexico Tech Shooting Sports Club to provide educational opportunities which include air rifle training and competition, Civilian Marksmanship Program schools, Action Pistol competitions, and other member-led training events. Safety and responsible firearms handling are always the number one priorities at all events.
