We recognize that we are all pilgrims seeking fuller, more meaningful lives and that each person's search is unique. South Acton Congregational, although a Christian Church in the Trinitarian tradition, welcomes discussion and growth through the wisdom of other traditions. Our diverse congregation is committed to seeking truth in the richness of a broad theological spectrum. We are inspired by and we learn from the Bible, our rich tradition and our various individual experiences. Using imagery from our tradition we refer to God using inclusive terms which helps us see God in personally meaningful ways.

Worship at South Acton Congregational blends appropriate respect for history with an air of informality. Our children and youth are important in our church spirit and we include them in worship. Preaching and prayers are oriented toward applying the lessons of history and the Word of God to the joys, tragedies and challenges of our modern lives. Our worship is for those who struggle, for those who wish to simply be with others, for all who are truly thankful to God. Our worship service reflects our theology, combining tradition with contemporary concerns and respect for individual beliefs.
