South Row is one of five elementary schools in the Chelmsford Public Schools. Currently it serves 440 students from kindergarten through fourth grade. Our class size varies with each grade level but is generally between 20 - 25 students. We have four sections at each grade level with the exception of first grade where we have five. We have two morning and two afternoon sessions of kindergarten.

Our talented and professional staff include:

* nineteen classroom teachers
* five specialists - art, music, physical education, library and computer
* two reading specialists
* a full time guidance counselor, speech therapist, and nurse
* a part-time psychologist, ESL teacher, and instrumental music teacher
* a learning center teacher, a resource room teacher, and an early childhood resource teacher

We also have a fine cadre of instructional support personnel who assist teachers both in our classrooms as well as in our resource rooms and learning center. Our teacher aides supervise children in the cafeteria and at recess. We are also fortunate to have three wonderful custodians and three cafeteria workers who are an integral part of our South Row community.
