Mission :

Southeast Middle School provides a safe, caring environment for students, teachers, administrators, support staff, and other stakeholders placed in its care. In doing so, Southeast Middle School anticipates and meets the community's information needs, facilitates lifelong learning, provides learning materials that meets the interests of the middle school child, and nurtures a desire to seek knowledge in all who attend it.

Vision :

Southeast Middle School will provide to its students educational opportunities that emphasize the Performing Arts, current and advanced forms of Technology, and experience in the Humanities, as appropriate in the delivery of Standards-Based academic instruction. Our students will become self-sufficient, effective communicators, collaborative workers, and life-long learners who are flexible and adaptive thinkers. They will be able to demonstrate civic responsibility by contributing to their community and by developing an appreciation for human and cultural diversity.
