SouthernCare provides hospice services to patients who are facing a life-limiting illness. Our care team, composed of nurses, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers, creates a customized plan of care that provides quality of life to our patients and their families. Compassion and comfort are the focus as we nurture our patients' physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.

Volunteers are valued members of our team and can provide so much:

• Friendly visits with patients,  making phone calls
• Assisting families with small tasks or errands.
• Singing or playing music for patients
• Helping with activities or events
• Being a caring presence, taking time to listen
• Helping with office tasks
• Bereavement services
