Spotlight productions is a 3 week, 2 session summer workshop for children with an emphasis on acting. Entering it's 5th summer and founded by actor Harley Yanoff as an honors thesis in his senior year at Brandeis University, Spotlight Productions strives to offer a comprehensive day program for serious students interested in the art of Acting.
What's different about the Spotlight Summer Theater Workshop is that Yanoff and his staff bring a unique, first hand perspective to the art of acting since they are currently professional actors in NYC. Their credits include Off Broadway theater, hit TV shows, and big budget Hollywood films. The workshop consists of studies in, singing, dancing, technical theater, improv, and auditioning.
Spotlight is also very excited about incorporating film/television acting into the workshop, which are unique and desirable skills to those looking to expand their acting experience and knowledge.
Located in Weston, Massachusetts, Spotlight is excited about entering it's 5th year and expanding the workshops that provide real world professional acting skills for developing actors. There are two different sessions available, Mon-Fri 9am - 4pm: Session 1 is July 2-July 20th and Session 2 is July30-August 17th. Each sessions workshops culminate in a participant led production open to friends, family, and the community.
