Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Spotsylvania County Public Schools to increase the student success rate through continuous improvement: To achieve our mission we will strive to:

Increase student success rate and improve the quality of curriculum and instruction

recruit, train, and retain a high quality staff;

increase the efficiency of services;

make planning an integral component of all school division functions;

improve the quality of on-going, effective, two-way communication.

The central focus of our schools is to serve students in order that they may develop specific skills, competencies and understandings necessary for success in a changing world.
