St. Gregory Catholic School is accredited with the Texas Catholic Conference Accreditation Agency and is recognized by the Texas Education Agency. As part of the Tyler Catholic School System, the elementary campus works closely with its sister school, Bishop Thomas K. Gorman Middle and High Schools, to form a comprehensive college preparatory school system. Academic excellence, Christian values, and a warm yet disciplined environment are the hallmarks of the St. Gregory School community. The mission of the Tyler Catholic School System is the fulfillment of the educational ministry of the Catholic Church and has as its primary goal the on going formation of the Christian person. It aims at the development of the individual's moral, intellectual, social, cultural, and physical endowments. The school is a Pre-Kindergarten through Fifth Grade parochial school run by the parish of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception that is within the Diocese of Tyler, Texas. As a Catholic educational community we believe that St. Gregory School exists to provide a unique service to the parish and to the wider community by affording students the opportunity to develop Christian values, achieve academic excellence, and to discover personal talents.
