About Us

We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, and its central message is the good news about salvation through Jesus Christ alone. We believe in the power of God's Word (the Bible) and His sacraments (Holy Baptism and the Lord's Supper) to save, heal, forgive, nurture and mature the minds and souls of all who believe in Jesus Christ. We also believe the Bible prepares and teaches us how to live a life pleasing to God and is the only source, norm and guide for Christian beliefs. Lutheran teachings and beliefs are described in the Book of Concord, the confessional writings of the Lutheran church.
