Our charter members chose the name St. Andrew for this church because they desired to be like the disciple, Andrew. The disciple named Andrew was called "the introducer", for it was he who introduced his brother to Jesus. Later he brought before him the little boy with the loaves and fish that Jesus used to feed 5,000 hungry people. He also introduced the first of the Greeks to Jesus. Our church has grown from a charter membership of 62 to a present membership of more than 250 persons. Today we continue to seek to connect ourselves and others to the love, truth and grace of God as revealed through Jesus Christ.
