About Us

Bob Denis and his wife, Suzi, started the farm as an opportunity to escape the stress of his day job; running his own insurance office.  After researching several hybridizers around Florida he found that daylilies would be the perfect plant to grow on his 20 acre farm. 

The daylilies became a huge success and Bob began to sell them throughout Central Florida.

In 2007, Bob turned the reins over to his daughter, Tricia Merrill.  Tricia, a certified nursing assistant, gladly accepted the challenge.  Under her creativity and care, the business continued to boom and is well on its way to becoming the largest daylily retailer in Florida.

Shortly after Tricia began her involvement in the farm, she came up with the concept of hosting garden clubs.  Club members and enthusiasts were invited to enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the open air pavilion to discuss gardening tips and tricks over tea and snacks. 

This idea has transformed into a fun meeting ground for groups, birthday parties, field trips and our special annual events, such as our pumpkin patch, featuring Spookley the Square Pumpkin.

Stanley Pond Adventure Farm is a great getaway destination that brings joy and laughter to families as they explore the many thrilling activities, fun crafts and unique experiences the farm has to offer.
