Steede Farms is operated by Mike and Heath Steede and their families. The farm is located in George County Mississippi on Hwy 63 South.This land has been in our family for over 150 years. We are 30 miles north of the Gulf and about 30 miles west of Mobile, Alabama. We raise about 30 acres of watermelons and canteloupe and about 10 acres of fruits and vegetables that we sell through our C.S.A. We also raise peanuts and corn on rented land and have cattle and pigs. We are not an organic farm but we do follow integrated pest management techniques to reduce pesticide applications and follow all label guidlines. This year we will produce a wide range of fruits and vegetables including tomato, cucumber, many peppers, southern peas, butterbeans, sweet corn, green peanuts, summer squash and greens.

We offer fresh fruits and vegetables delivered each week to drop points in Mobile, Al, Pascagoula, MS and Ocean Springs, MS. The Full Harvest Box will contain 10- 20 lbs. of produce to feed a family of 3-4. The Lite Harvest box will contain 7-12 lbs. of produce to feed a family of 1-2. During melon harvest each box will include a watermelon and/or a canteloupe as an added bonus.
