Summit Animal Rescue Association, Inc. is a non-profit animal rescue and placement organization with locations in North and Central New Jersey. Our mission is to rescue cats, dogs, or any animal in need, give them medical attention, rehabilitate them, and provide a temporary loving  environment until we find a permanent home through adoption.

Our entire staff is comprised of dedicated and committed volunteers who work with veterinarians, that provide us discounted rates on services. In addition, we have hands on volunteers who help NJ residents spay and neuter feral cats in order to reduce the number of unwanted kittens in shelters. SARA has a proven track record for saving lives; through our tireless efforts we have found homes for over 500 animals since we began over seven years ago.

S.A.R.A. actively raises funds to cover all of our program costs.  We are a 501(c) (3) organization, so all donations are tax-deductible.  100% of all funds raised go directly to programs and services that we provide for our animals. No funds are utilized for any administrative expenses.
