In 2006, God brought together the visions of two individuals concerning church planting. Ed Baker, Director of Missions of the East Central Baptist Association, and Randy Proctor, a preacher with a vision of planting 10 new churches. They begin to pray and discuss strategy as to how the Lord might plant a church in the Liberty community.

This past summer, that vision was borne out in a new church planting project with the help of the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma, through the East Central Baptist Association.
