Sylmar High School is a comprehensive ninth through twelfth grade high school. We currently provide services for 3,622 students. Sylmar High School is committed to graduating students who are academically, socially, and emotionally ready for the next steps in their lives.

At Sylmar High School we believe that All students have a right to receive a quality educational program. A quality education can only occur when there is support, commitment, and cooperative interaction among all stakeholders. School must be a safe and pleasant place where values of trust, fairness, and mutual respect are part of the internal fabric.

Sylmar High School is located in the foothills of the northeast San Fernando Valley in the city of Sylmar. Sylmar High School is one of seven high schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District’s (LAUSD) Local District 2. The Sylmar Family within District 2 is comprised of our high school, one continuation high school, one middle school, eight elementary schools, and one children’s center.
