The Tabernacle Woman's Association was founded over twenty-five years ago by five civic-minded women. Members have come and gone but the orginal spirit continues to thrive among the current members. The purpose of our association is to aid needy families and charitable institutions. We also raise funds for school, recreational, environmental and civic improvements.

Over the years, the Tabernacle Woman's Association has made many contributions to the Tabernacle community. Each year we sponsor college scholarships for graduating high school seniors from Tabernacle. We have sponsored athletic teams, scout troops, and community activities for area children including chaperoning the 5th and 6th grade dances held at the Olson Middle School. We maintain the cleanliness of two township roads. During the holidays, we sponsor the Helping Hands Christmas Tree to ensure that all children in the community can enjoy the gifts of the season
