About Us :
Over 200 acres of Mother Nature's bounty await the world weary traveler. Terra Nova is centrally located in Western North Carolina in the land of waterfalls.
This is simply a beautiful land, managed and kept by a dedicated team of people Meet The Terra Nova Staff who believe that this is a sacred place and strive to do the best they can to honor that fact. Along with many trails a 12 acre lake offers our guests the opportunity to canoe, paddleboat, swim or sit quietly for lakeside meditation. Several streams come together throughout the property, each with it's own special voice cascading over the brook stones.
While at Terra Nova make sure you spend a bit of time visiting our gardens. The angel garden is especially beautiful at any time of year. Many have visited our Friendship garden and left their blessing by placing a stone on the Stupa in the center, perhaps you will too.
Many great workshops and events are held in our spacious chapel. We hold church services every Sunday morning at 11:00 am. Everyone is welcome. Once a month we hold a special service and share a pot luck dinner afterwards. Check the Calendar Page for dates.

Both Camping and Indoor Lodging is available at Terra Nova. Pitch your tent right next to the lake and enjoy our bath house with hot and cold running water. Campfires are allowed only in the fire pit and only under camp staff supervision.
Terra Nova Center backs up to the Dupont State Forest where many new trails have been created for hikers, trail bike riders and horse back. Terra Nova is located in Transylvania County the land of waterfalls, and Dupont State Forest is home to several stunning examples.
Asheville, NC, The Biltmore Estate, Brevard, NC and many mountain attractions are nearby. We are a perfect overnight getaway for a quick weekend retreat. All are welcome who come in peace. See our area attractions page for more listings.
