The Friends of the Abraham Staats House…

Has been established to support the ongoing restoration and preservation of the properties directly related to the history of South Bound Brook. Our primary focus is on preservation of the historic Abraham Staats House, a private home from its beginnings in the early 1700s until it was acquired in 1999 by the borough of South Bound Brook. Our activities include:

• Promoting educational social life of the borough.
• Servicing historical interests of the community.
• Providing a safe repository for items of local significance.
• Instilling pride in our community.
• Accepting contributions from individuals, public or private groups for charitable, educational and historical purposes related to the above.
