Welcome to the Department of Recreation & Cultural Affairs. The following information has been prepared to give you a general overview of our programs and services. The department is operated by a staff under the supervision of the Director of Recreation and Cultural Affairs. The Director reports to the Village Administrator.

The Board of Trustees, the governing body of the Village, establishes the policies under which the department operates. The Library, Recreation & Cultural Affairs Committee, made up of three Trustees, is the liaison between the department and the governing body.

The Recreation & Cultural Affairs Advisory Board, an advisory group to the department, serves as a bridge between the needs and interests of the community at large and the department.
