About Us: The Parish of St. Paul the Apostle is a community of Catholic Christians supporting one another in every possible way in their common struggle to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We believe in One God who is our Father and who created us for eternal life. We believe that God became man in Jesus to teach us, and to show us how to attain that goal. We believe that Jesus Christ established a Church as a community of those who believe in Him, and that He endowed that Church with His own wisdom and authority to teach and preach in His name, and to interpret and apply His Gospel for all. We believe that the Church which He founded is the Roman Catholic Church, united as always from the beginning and throughout the world under Peter and his successors.
We believe that without the real support of a Christian community, without the strength which only comes to us from Christ through the Sacraments, without the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we could never hope to succeed in living as He lived. We are, therefore, committed to being a support to one another by our example; by our common worship; by our unanimous profession of and, fidelity to, a common faith; by the sharing of our diverse strengths and by the mutual acknowledgment of our weaknesses; by our unity with our Catholic brothers and sisters throughout the world; and by simple human friendship.
We find in our community reassurance in the faith, encouragement in Gospel living, mutuality in worship, security in the inspired guidance of the Church, support in need and the warmth of human relationships.
