The Guardians Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization created to help wounded veterans regain a piece of their lives.  Founded by SSG Michael L Shaw of Idaho's 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team  in January 2011 while serving in Baghdad, Iraq.  SSG Shaw is slated to return from Baghdad at the end of August with the 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team. 

The organization's sole purpose is to support wounded veterans and their families and children of deceased veterans by offering camping, fishing, hunting and other outdoor activities.  We expect to provide 30 3-day trips for wounded veterans in the coming year
