The Moms Club of Brockport

The MOMS Club (MOMS Offering Moms Support) of Brockport is part of an international non-profit organization for at-home mothers of today! We offer activities for mothers and their children during the day when mothers need support the most. Some of the activities we schedule are: playgroups, field trips, craft groups, park days, MOMS night out, book club, workshops, babysitting co-op, service projects and much, much, more! Most of our activities are low or no-cost since we know that choosing to be a stay-at-home mom frequently requires financial sacrifices.

The MOMS Club began in 1983 when Mary, an at-home mother in California, decided she was tired of being alone at home. She wanted to meet other at-home mothers and she wanted to find other at-home children for her children to play with. When she discovered there were no other organizations that met during the day and allowed her to come with her baby and preschooler, she decided to start a brand new organization just for at-home mothers, and the MOMS Club was born.

The chapter she started was so successful; she knew mothers in other areas must need the MOMS Club, too. Soon she and other volunteers were helping mothers start MOMS Club chapters across the country and around the world!

We now have over 2,000 chapters with more than 100,000 members across the United States. We also have International chapters starting too!
