The Newcomers/Encore Club is a social club open to all residents of Short Hills and Millburn, no matter how long they've lived in the area. The club, which is run by member volunteers, organizes activities for the whole family during the week, in the evenings and on the weekends.

There are playgroups, book groups, French Conversation and Women's Night Out to name but a few of the activities planned each week, with a special program monthly and social events several times during the year. Most of all, the club is committed to seeking out those newly arrived in the area, to make sure they know they'll be welcome here and find friendship.
