Dr. Salido serves as a Faculty Associate in Piano at Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio, and accompanies professionally both on and off campus. Along with performing extensively as a soloist and chamber musician all over the Columbus area and the US, she teaches piano at The Piano Arts Studio, her private studio, in Blacklick. As an active member of the Music Teachers National Association and the Ohio Music Teachers Association (Central East District), Dr. Salido has served as chair for the 2004 OMTA/Graves Piano Competition and conductor for Pianorama. She has served as adjudicator for events including Columbus Symphony Orchestra’s Young Musician’s Competition. Dr. Salido continues to serve as adjudicator and currently serves as chair for the Student Solo and Ensemble Recitals. This particular event provides an opportunity for students of all instruments and voice to gain additional performance experience in a non-competitive setting. Dr. Salido lives in Blacklick with her husband, Brian L. Richardson.
