Nestled comfortably on an estate south of Surrey, North Dakota (part of the greater Minot area in Ward County), ThumbsUp Winery has been owner-operated by Tim Effertz and family since 2011. Our location is not necessarily set up for guided tourism or tasting exhibitions, but if you Contact Us in advance we may be able to offer samples during a visit. 

We offer our wines by the 12-bottle case. Through a parternship with North Dakota's premiere distribution network (Johnson Brothers of North Dakota), our inventory is available across the state. Visit our Stores section for a regularly-updated list of locations where our varities can be purchased.
