Tishomingo Lions Club
History:
Our club was initially chartered February 7, 1929 and became defunct February 26, 1945. Any former members or persons in the community who know any of the circumstances surrounding the demise of the club are encouraged to contact Lion Rod Hall with the information. I assume it had something to do with World War II. The Tishomingo Lions Club was rechartered March 7, 1955 and has been in existence since that time. Over the years we have unfortunately become the only Service Club in Tishomingo. Good clubs like Rotary, Kiwanis, and others have existed and disbanded.
