About Us
Thirty miles east of the Mississippi River in beautiful Western Wisconsin, the Budweiser Super National Tractor Pull in Tomah, WI is hosted by the Monroe County Agricultural Society. The Ag. Society, or Fair Board as it is often called, is comprised of dedicated people from all walks of life. The Fair Board works in conjunction with the 4-H, the Future Farmers of America, the University of Wisconsin Extension and others to oversee and manage Monroe County's annual county fair.
Since its inception in 1976, Tractor Pull proceeds have helped update facilities at Tomah's Recreation Park, the site of the Tractor Pull and the Fair. Currently, we are planning and raising funds to build a small animal exhibit building, to house the Fair's fastest growing area of interest with our youngsters.
The Monroe County Agricultural Society is governed by a dedicated nine-member Board of Directors who work throughout the year to combine their talents with those of area organizations to host the Tractor Pull. The mission of the Ag Society is to ensure that the families and youth of Monroe County, and surrounding areas, are afforded the opportunity to experience outstanding opportunities for education and entertainment, and to provide a forum to share and learn family values. That effort has made the Monroe County Fair one of the top county fairs in the area.
