Total Life Ministry Center began as Apostolic Faith Church Ministries on December 20, 1998. Our first service was held at a park in Lilburn, Georgia. We later moved to a small space at Best Friend Park in Norcross, Georgia. At the time, our members included the Pastor, his wife, and the Pastor's parents. The attendance at our church services fluctuated.
Over the course of the next year-and-a-half, we saw many visitors come and go. In May 1999, Apostolic Faith Church Ministries moved to its first semi-permanent space, a suite at The Atrium Mall in Norcross, Georgia. On April 27, 2000, the Lord added a special new member to Apostolic Faith Church Ministries, 8-pound, 3-ounce Erin McCormack, the Pastor and his wife's first child. (Subsequently, on July 28, 2004, the Lord blessed the Pastor and his wife with a son as well, 6-pound, 13-ounce Ian McCormack.)
Apostolic Faith Church Ministries left The Atrium Mall in November 2000, but we assumed the name Total Life Ministry Center in the summer of that year. Total Life briefly held services at an apartment complex in Scottdale, Georgia.
In May of 2001, we began holding services at Faith Community Apostolic Church in Lithonia, Georgia. Services were held every Sunday at 3:00 pm and on Tuesday evenings. In October of that same year, the Lord began to send families into the membership of Total Life. And, on November 25, 2001, we held our first service at 5561-K Memorial Drive In Stone Mountain, Georgia, our current church home.
We have received miraculous donations of church pews, a church bus, a church van, sound equipment, a drum set and some other furniture items from the saints and friends of the church. The Lord has blessed us to be able to purchase a baptistry, organ, newer sound equipment, etc. God has truly shown favor toward us. We have seating for 110 people and the capacity for 200+. We are expecting God to do more as our ministry continues to grow
