Our town is governed by a Mayor and six Council members selected at-large by the registered voters in the Town of Central. Council Members are elected to staggered four-year terms and are elected under a non-partisan system.

Our priorities continue to be trying to plan for and adapt to the large amount of growth we have in our area. A desire on the part of Central's leaders to meet this challenge means citizens have seen substantial renovation in the downtown area, carefully drawn up plans for managing rapid growth, and a healthy financial condition
