Mission
The mission of the Town of Yanceyville is to provide its citizens and visitors a clean, safe, hometown atmosphere that anyone would be proud to call home. Yanceyville will strive to prepare and build for the future, while at the same time maintaining and preserving our deep-rooted heritage that has been an important part of this community for over two hundred years.
The Town of Yanceyville was incorporated on July 1st, 1986 when the Yanceyville Sanitary District simultaneously dissolved and transferred its ownership of all assets to the Town of Yanceyville and its newly formed five-member Town Council.
The Town currently provides a number of services, including: General Government Administration, Water and Sewer distribution and collection, Billing and Collection Department, Planning Department, Zoning Administration, Human Resource services, Parks and Recreational services, and operates a Volunteer Fire Department that services the Town and surrounding areas.
