Mission Statement

“The mission of Toyon Middle School is to create an educational environment that provides all individuals with the tools needed to become life-long learners and to responsibly participate in our democratic society.  We challenge ourselves to strive for continuous improvement in multiple areas--  in our academic achievements; in acceptance of both personal and civic responsibilities; in our appreciation and understanding of the arts; in our personal health and well-being; and in our respect for ourselves, our diverse community, and our environment.”
