About Us

Tranquillity Elementary School serves approximately 300 students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. It is located in the agricultural town of Tranquillity, on the rural west side of Fresno county. Tranquillity is about 45 miles southwest of the city of Fresno.

Tranquillity Elementary School was built in 1958. It has a stable student population. Many of the students’ parents attended the school when they were children. This creates a definite sense of family. Most students have siblings, extended family members or longtime family friends at the school. Most of the teachers and staff have been working at the school for many years, and know the students and their families quite well.
