It is the vision of Triton Middle School to create a learning environment where all students are motivated to find their purpose, to clearly see their worth, and to realize their full potential.

Mission Statement

Together: Everyone in our school community is responsible for the education and developmental growth of our students.

In Growing: Growing in this context means the implementation of developmentally appropriate activities and lessons for TMS students. All school community members must be mindful of the physical, social, physiological, and mental developmental growth that occurs for our students.

Educated: TMS is dedicated to the teaching and learning of Indiana Academic Standards. We believe all students can become better cultured and knowledgeable about the world through meaningful engaging work. Middle level students must not only be educated in the academic realm, but in the social context as well. Educating middle level students entails knowledge of brain research, teaming, and connections with individual students.

Respectful: The TMS school community centers its entire character program around the significance of respect. If the school community upholds respect, all other character traits will follow.

Students: Triton Middle School appreciates all students who are members of our school community. We willingly accept diversity, varying cognitive abilities and individualism as strengthening elements of our school.
