Vision Statement

The Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools Office exists to serve local school districts and ultimately all students including those with special needs. In order to promote academic, vocational, artistic and personal success of all Tuolumne County students the TCSOS will:

-Maintain mandated services at the highest level of efficiency and productivity in order to meet the varying needs of districts and their students
-Serve as a clearinghouse to disseminate accurate, timely and user-friendly information
-Encourage and facilitate collaboration among districts to make the best use of resources
-Provide curriculum support for students and staff
-Provide leadership and advocacy for legislation which benefits the students of this county
-Assist districts to develop a smooth transition from grade to grade and school to school to promote preparedness for college, careers and citizenship
-Assist districts to ensure all students are enrolled in a meaningful educational experience
-Maintain a process by which districts identify their needs, make suggestions, and assess the performance of the county schools office
-Maintain strong partnerships with community and county agencies
