History:

Twin Creeks Christian Center incorporated in June 1994 as Gatesville Community Church and began services on February 5, 1995 at the Gatesville High School auditorium under the leadership of Jack and Verna Isbell. The main focus of the Vision of Gatesville Community Church was to minister to the "last, the least, and the lost." The first members of Gatesville Community Church were Llyn and Betty Spencer.

In late 1995, nineteen acres were purchased to build a new facility. On the property ran two creeks. It was at this time the church changed it's name to Twin Creeks Baptist Church.

In November 1995, Twin Creeks Baptist Church moved to 2345 Bridge Street in Gatesville and continued to meet at that location until the new facility could be completed. In November 1996, the congregation voted to begin the construction of the new facility, and in February 1997, construction began.
