Whether you move here or are just visiting, you'll find the people and atmosphere of Twisp very pleasant and full of good energy. We have a population of approximately 1,000 year - around residents and our sense of togetherness and community helps to provide a safe environment for children as well as a rewarding place to live. There are a number of schools here in the Methow Valley including Methow Valley Elementary School, the non-profit Community School, Liberty Bell Jr.-Sr. High School as well as Montessori and alternative schools.
We are also very proud to have a beautiful city park including the Wagner Memorial Pool which is open to the public and offers swimming lessons during the summer months. You can also find an exercise trail, basketball court band shell and picnic facilities at the park.
