Habitat is an ecumenical nonprofit housing ministry. It's mission is to stamp out proverty housing and create decent, safe, affordable homes in partnership with low income working families in need. Families pay a 0 interest mortagae as well as their own taxes and insurance as well as contributing at least 250 hours of sweat equity to the organization.
