WAYSIDE LADIES SPEAK
During the Civil War, fourteen ladies of Union Point opened the Wayside Home for wounded soldiers. Over one million meals were served and thousands of men were taken care of between 1862 and 1865. Seventeen soldiers were buried in Wisteria cemetery, site of the event. Join us as the Wayside Ladies speak from their grave sites at 714 Park Avenue, Union Point, Georgia on May 18 at 2:00 p.m
