The purpose of the United Christian Fellowship at Navarro College is the following:
1. Furthere the mission of the Church within the Navarro College service area (Navarro, Limestone, Freestone, and Ellis Counties).
2. Provide for effective growth and participation of members of the campus Christian community in the life and work of the churches.
3. Receive the nurture of the Church and, at the same time, enable the United Christain Fellowship to be a prophetic voice within the life the churches, pioneering on all frontiers of faith and work.
4. Increase sensitivity to and understanding of the responsibility of the Christain community within in the college.
5. Increase sensitivity to and understanding of the responsibility to which God calls students and faculty in the political, economic, and social world.
6. Enable our sponsoring bodies to exercise greater stewardship of funds and leadship which have been granted for the campus ministry and the campus Christain movement.
7. Deepen our understanding of and participation in the total movement of the Church.
8. Further conversations with our fellow campus Christian movements, sensitive to the imperative for unity in mission and aware that our own union is only a partial realization of that unity for which our Lord is calling; and make it possible for communions without organized campus Christian movements to share in the mission of the Church within the Navarro College area.
9. Further conversations with the other world religious traditions represented on the Navarro College campus.
10. Invite the area churches to become participating members in the United Christain Fellowingship, at Navarro College.
