VIBC is a community of believers who passionately exalt God in every aspect of life, progressively empower believers to become faithful disciples and effective ministers, and purposefully engage the unchurched with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

This will be achieved through the functions of Proclamation, Outreach, Worship, Education, Relationship, and Stewardship.

We envision a multigenerational community of believers in the Greater Vallejo area who are dedicated to making Christ the central focus in the lives of people, promoting a worshipful environment where people can personally encounter God, and propagating a nurturing environment where people are empowered to become genuine followers of Jesus Christ.

We envision a Christ-centered people

Who take pleasure in meeting God in authentic worship and prayer,

Who desire to mature continually in the faith and in ministry through the study of the Word and discipleship training,

Who acknowledge that each member is a significant minister with a vital role in the Body and in the work of the Kingdom,

Who recognize family and relationships as key settings for the expression of faith and as important avenues for ministry

Who adopt a “Kingdom perspective” in carrying out the task of ministry and partner with like-minded fellowships, and

Who manage responsibly all God-given resources to advance his Kingdom.
