The Van Singel Fine Arts Center is a multi-faceted facility not only presenting fine, high-quality off Broadway shows and entertainment, but it is also the home of the area's two-year theater technology school to career program. The facility is also for rent and is often used by many area corporate and non-profit groups for meetings, performances, and other events.

The Van Singel Fine Arts Center is charged with a three-tiered mission:
- To bring family friendly arts to the students and community
- To provide the community with a profession performing arts and educational facility
- To promote arts access to families with limisted or restricted incomes.
