About Us:
Vintage Math, Science and Technology Magnet is part of the Los Angeles Unified School District, and is LEARN elementary school. Grades 1-5 is a full magnet, while our kindergarten is open to our residential kindergartners. We have a diverse population of over 700 students, including our two kindergarten classes.
Vintage is a place where children come to learn! The school is organized around a well structured and disciplined environment conducive to learning and achievement. Students are expected to comply with our Required Dress Code, School Discipline Plan, Homework Policy and school rules and regulations.
Homework is assigned daily and reinforces the classroom instructional program. Students are held accountable for doing quality class work and homework.
There is a strong emphasis on math, science and technology with our Macintosh Computer Lab as a focal point of our program. All classrooms have computers, including a new Macintosh. Our Science Lab supports a very comprehensive, hands-on integrated science program.
