Waldorf School of Cape Cod

140 Old Oyster Road
508-420-1005

Mission:

The Waldorf School of Cape Cod dedicates itself to nurturing the intellectual, emotional, physical and spiritual growth of each child so he or she may continue life's journey as a free, capable and independent individual.

We cultivate in the children a feeling of wonder, reverence for life, and a respect for self and others through our curriculum, our festivals and our sense of community.

We view our school community as a threefold organization in which the mutual striving of teachers, parents and friends serves to support the children and their education.

We are committed to the ideals, educational philosophy, concept of human development and spiritual impulses set forth by Rudolf Steiner.

About Us:

The Waldorf School of Cape Cod (WSCC) is located in the quaint seaside village of Cotuit, MA on 13.5 acres of beautiful woodlands within walking distance of Cotuit harbor. We offer authentic accredited Waldorf education programs for children from Parent & Child through Middle School, as well as aftercare, a summer program, and community events for the whole family.

Our curriculum nourishes the developing child and supports the child's growth through the important grade school years. Our aim is to provide an education that will produce well-rounded individuals who are able to think critically and creatively.

The Waldorf School of Cape Cod is an independent school offering an elementary and middle school program and an early childhood program which includes parent child, nursery and kindergarten.

The faculty, staff and board of Trustees of the Waldorf School of Cape Cod welcome you and your children to the Waldorf School program. Our school is part of a worldwide movement of more than 750 Waldorf schools.

The Waldorf School of Cape Cod is an independent school offering a curriculum for early childhood, elementary and middle school that corresponds to the inner development of the child as he or she journeys from the imaginative world of early childhood to the adult world of clear intellectual thought. The teachers work out of the educational methods developed by Dr.Rudolf Steiner, founder of the first Waldorf school of Stuttgart, Germany in 1919.
