Walker Elementary is a Performing Arts Magnet School that offers strings, keyboard, band, chorus, dance, drama and art. Walker Elementary student population is approximately 927, serving a diverse social and economic community.
Walker Elementary is part of the Broward County Public Schools. Broward County Public School is the fifth largest school district in the nation, with a unique urban / suburban mix of students. The district served the educational needs of more than 217,000 students in the 2003-2004 year.
