The Washington Township Fire Department provides fire, rescue and emergency medical services to the residents of Washington Township, Mercer County, NJ and surrounding communities.

We protect a diversified community approximately 25 square miles consisting of residential, commercial, industrial and farmlands. The township, which continues to change and grow in leaps and bounds provides our department with over 1200 calls per year and is expected to increase significantly. Other than our commitment to our residents we also protect interstate highways, an airport, numerous motels/hotels, industrial and commercial buildings, which pose high hazard conditions for fire fighters.
