Waverly Farms produces meat and produce without hormones, antibiotics, pesticides or herbicides. We practice sustainable farming with an emphasis on healthy soil, plants, animals and people. Our livestock are grass fed and never sent to feed lots. We breed pure bred Spanish goats for sale from the Valera heritage. We also host events such as weddings, parties, dinners and meetings. Weekly or bi-weekly boxes are prepared for each member from mid June through November and include fresh seasonal vegetables, herbs, garlic and optional eggs. Members may pick up at the farm or at a pick-up location in the Richmond area. The pick-up location will be determined based upon member addresses. Delivery may be arranged for an extra fee. CSA shares require a $100 deposit, then are paid as boxes are recieved: $25 per box with eggs; $20 per box without eggs. Meat shares are priced and sold separately. With advanced notice, members may elect to not receive a box (to accommodate vacations) or to receive larger or smaller boxes, or to have other products included in their boxes.
