We Believe:

-that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God who died for our sins and arose from the dead.

-that the Bible is the inspired word of God.

-that every person has worth as a creation of God, but that "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God".

-that the forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available through Jesus Christ.

-that those accepting Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith and be baptized into Him.

-that a person receives the Holy Spirit and forgiveness of sins at baptism. The Holy Spirit empowers one for works of ministry and service.

-that the Church is the body of Christ on earth and exists to save the lost and edify the saved.

-that division among Christians is sinful and contrary to the Lord's prayer for unity.

-that prayer is important.

-that Jesus Christ will one day return and reign forever as King of kings and Lord of lords.

History:

Wentzville Christian Church was founded on August 6, 1961 with four families. During those early years the church met in various buildings, but in 1965 some land and a building were purchased at our present location. In 1985, construction was completed on the current auditorium and second floor classrooms to accommodate future growth.

Ground was broken on a new church just one mile from the existing one in late 2005. We will be moving to the new building in the Fall of 2006.
