The WCACC is a non-profit organization that hosts two annual concerts in addition to performing at venues such as selected Phillies games where they sing the national anthem or at the West Chester Christmas where carols are sung. All adults who enjoy singing for the pure joy of doing so are welcome. Membership does not require an audition.
Under the direction of George Waldie, the group of nearly 100 men and women generally meets at the West Chester East High School choral room on Monday evenings from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. during the school year. Because the meeting location does occasionally change, it is best to make contact beforehand. Members pay a per-semester membership fee of $10, primarily used to purchase additional music.
